Welcome to Turtle Watch net!
Turtle Watch is a Finnish, non-profit organization dedicated to marine environmental protection. Our goal is to actively inform tourists about sustainable tourism, especially diving and snorkeling. We also spread information about endangered species of the seas, especially sea turtles since the migration patterns of the green turtle is the scope of our pilot study. By this study we aim to survey how juvenile green turtles raised in captivity migrate in natural sea environments after release. Knowing how juvenile turtles migrate and what kind of habitats they prefer enables better protection of these highly endangered species. To be able to fulfill our project we need your help. Please join our marine protection program by supporting or joining our organization!
